School Days booking out!

That's right...our school days are now officially booked out right up until June at Eastern Creek! The moral of the story? Book early! As we are now booked out around 2 months in advance, we recommend you book your position sooner rather than later to avoid disappointment. So...either visit the "Calendar/Bookings" page on this website, or call us on 1300 793 423. Either way...do it now!

The System of Instruction by Levels

ImageWhat is your aim as a rider? Can you see yourself riding the perfect corner every single time? If you could, what knowledge must you have to make this dream a reality?

Getting the perfect corner every time may simply be a dream, but by following the Cornering Schools step by step training system, we know you can bring that dream a little closer. Each level of instruction is designed to give you the ëtoolsí you need to create a successful corner on any stretch of road or track.

So, how many ëtoolsí would you need to make all the elements of cornering flow together into an art? There are quite a few actually, about twenty. And weíve conveniently broken them down into 4 levels. Riders do one Level at a time, everyone starts at Level 1 and each level takes one full day to complete.

FACT: STEP-BY-STEP ADVANCED RIDER TRAINING WAS INVENTED BY KEITH CODE AT THE SUPERBIKE SCHOOL.

Level 1

ImageEverybody starts at Level I. Level I answers the most commonly asked cornering questions, like; what entry speed should I use? How far should I lean? How much throttle should I use? Why do I tend run wide in corners? etc; and provides the tools to correct them. Correct throttle control, knowing how and where to turn your bike and allowing your suspension to do what it is designed to do, along with several other skills, add up to the confidence that only Level I can give you.
Riders do the drills for each of these tools and take home vital skills and an exact plan for any corner: what to do, where, when, how much and in what order. By the end of the Level I school day you will know exactly what to do to get what you want and need from each and every corner you ride from now on.

• MASTERING THE CORNERING TOOLS OF OUR LEVEL 1 SESSION'S HANDLES 90% OF ANY RIDERS CONFIDENCE PROBLEMS

Level 2

ImageVisual information rules...Visual skills are the cornerstone of anyoneís riding abilities. On a Level II day, riders work out five more cornering techniques that build on the Level I skills, focused on vision.
The problems of receiving and processing visual information can be tough. A rider has to make often critical decisions based on what they see, yet things like target fixation can be a major barrier to smooth, flowing riding. We explain how it works and give you solid drills and examples to start you on the road to handling that, along with the other pieces of the visual puzzle.

• THIS LEVEL SENDS YOUR EYES TO SCHOOL.

Level 3

ImageNow that you have a clear plan for a turn, the skills with which to accomplish it and the ability to decipher the never-ending flow of information your eyes keep feeding you, itís time to give you some tools that will allow you to apply these skills at a considerably higher level.

A riderís fit on the bike is important and we look at that. We look at different cornering styles and positions. We teach you how to make the classic pass. There is a special drill aimed at putting all the Level I, II & III skills together into a tight package of pro riding: it helps point out exactly what you can and canít do, what is going right and wrong.

• AFTER LEVEL 3 YOU HAVE ALL THE TOOLS IN YOUR RIDER KIT YOU NEED TO ACCOMPLISH WHATEVER YOU WANT FROM YOUR RIDING.

Level 4

ImageIn Level IV session, we get totally personal. An exact, custom tailored, individual technical program is written for each Level IV rider.

Your on-track instructor clears each step before attacking it, then takes you through it, point by point, only moving onto the next point when you are totally satisfied with your progress. Before school, riders fill out our questionnaire; we consult with their previous instructors; our chief instructor writes a program and Keith or Steve personally OK it.

• IN LEVEL 4 WE TRANSFORM YOUR WEAKNESS AND PERFECT YOUR STRENGTHS.
